How much will bimmer dealership charge to have anti-theft/alarm system fixed/reinstalled/reprogrammed? I need serious answers only.
Not if they're concealed. Not within 100 yards of a public school. Not if they are full 'auto'. Not allowed in bars.
I would have the vehicle flatbedded to the dealer and have them take a look at it. I have a '98 A4 with factory alarm and my alarm remote is on the key head. Generally, you can disconnect the alarm by using the key in the door to unlock, at least with mine. From what you are saying, it appears that this may be an aftermarket alarm. Is there any documentation in the glove box? How about contacting the previous owner?
