Question:

1000 origami cranes?

When making 1000 origami cranes, do all of them have to be the same size? I already made some of varying sizes. Does it matter? I hope not.Thank you.

Answer:

i don't get it. who's going to furnish you a desire? The magic crane genie? Buddha? Why no longer attempt praying to God who might have the potential to help you, without going to each and all the artwork and giving your self paper cuts.
I don't believe there are any size restrictions, the main requirement is that there be 1000 of them. Since a lot of origami paper is prohibitively expensive to buy in large amounts, you'll probably be better off folding with whatever is convenient to you. This also frees you up to fold wherever and whenever you like, without having to lug around a certain size paper or a ruler and scissors. For instance, Sadako Sasaki, the famous Japanese school girl who attempted to fold 1000 cranes before her death from raditation-induced leukemia, had to fold with whatever paper was close to her - spare bits of medicine wrappings, napkins, candy wrappers, and wrapping paper from get-well presents.
They can be made of anything, and they can vary in size, so you're okay.
