I have a 1988 Subaru GL Coupe. It has the stock 13 inch wheels and I want to upgrade to 14 inch wheels. I heard that these wheels are rare because they are 4x100. What are my best options for wheels?
They are rare because they are4x140mm, not 4x100 which is quite common. You can find 14 inch alloy wheels from some 80s Subarus, but they are somewhat hard to find. Your best bet are to find a set of wheels off of a Peugeot 505, the only other car to use that odd bolt pattern. They come in 14 and 15 inch sizes, but some can be hard to find tires for. Also, places like Les Schwab can drill out a custom bolt pattern on new steel wheels for you.
