Question:

2006 chevy impala windshield wipers dont work?

i have a 2006 chevy impala LT. It is a 3,510 cc 3.5 liters V 6 front engine with 99 mm bore, 76 mm stroke, 9.8 compression ratio, overhead valve, variable valve timing/camshaft and two valves per cylinder LZE Multi-point injection fuel system 17 gallon main unleaded fuel tank Power: 157 kW , 211 HP SAE 5,800 rpm; 214 ft lb , 290 Nm 4,000 rpm. INITIALLY, the wipers started to work intermittently. Some days on, some off. Then they began to perform more slowly and intermittently until they stopped altogether. changed fuses with no luck.

Answer:

replace the motor gear head!
Sounds like you wiper motor went out. A reman will cost you about $65.00 at the autoparts store after core charge. Not hard to replace dont make a $65.00 dollar job into a $300.00 dollar one do it yourself. Pay attention taking the old one off will teach you how to put the new one on. Hope this helps
