Question:

2006 Nissan Sentra SE around 48,000 miles Service Engine Soon Light?

This week my service engine soon light came on I have around 48,000 miles on it a 2006 Nissan Sentra SE. I have had my alternator recently changed and my spark plugs changed and my timing belt because they didn‘t know why it was having problems before till they changed my alternator, then I didn‘t have any problems for a few months till now for this part. Now on Monday May 24th, 2010 I drove to class and it was fine. I left class on Monday and when driving home I noticed the Service Engine Soon . I am taking it to the dealership this thursday but wanting to see if there are any info anyone else has on here. Thank You

Answer:

I have not heard that it is.
For normal diets no . for vegetarian and the vegan cult members it is unless they focus in on crap like flaxseed to get it.
Like the other guy said, you should be able to take it to your neariest auto parts store and they will check the code for you, and remove it. Or you can disconnect the battery for a few min. that might do it. But then you'll never know if something is really wrong.
Do you have a auto supply who can check the engine light code before thursday? Spending 1.0 hour to have the dealer check for the code. There are hundreds of codes that can be set. Why go to the dealership for a PO455 code for a loose/missing gas cap? Also I would like to know who can sell a timing belt to a person who has a Sentra with a timing chain? Again NGK platinium spark plugs should easily go for 100,000 miles. If they installed anything other than NGK plugs there may be your problem. 2006 Sentra suffers from head gasket issues so if your code is P0303 #3 misfire have a technician pressure up the cooling system and watch for coolant in the Cly. Good Luck
