Yes, if. the part numbers are the same. If not, then no, the electronics will not allow the key to be programed to the sentry system.

Yes you can cut the key to unlock doors. To program the fob, you'll have to buy a genuine blank Charger key that has not been programmed before. You can program it yourself if you have the original two keys that came with your Charger. If you don't, you would have to take it to the dealership and they charge $150+ to program a blank.
