Question:

240w car speakers?

I want to buy new car speakers because mine blew out but idk if 240w pioneer car speakers are good enough to handle the loud music i listen to right now currently i have the original Ford F-150 speakers. will these speakers be anybetter than the originals?

Answer:

They should sound better, but might not. In every car Ive installed a deck in, the original speakers sound 100x better once a quality aftermarket head unit is installed. I run stock speakers in my doors of my Caprice that is 11 years old and pound them with a Pioneer 860mp deck. Had I left the stock deck in and bought new speakers, it wouldn't even be close to the same. So to answer, they will be better, but if you are going to invest in a speaker like Pioneer, I would suggest to invest in a nice new deck to really power themapprox 22rms, instead of approx 8rms from stock. Or you can run a stock deck, and buy an amp and spend more money this way to give the speakers anywhere from 30-150rms.
Aftermarket speakers will always ALWAYS sound better than stock. So yes, replacing your stock speakers with ANY aftermarket speaker will sound better. With new speakers you should invest in a new head unit. It'll sound many times better. However don't expect it to be too loud until you start spending money on subs, amps and component speaker systems.
Any aftermarket speakers will sound better than your original stocks. Pioneer is known for putting out good quality products so there shouldn't be a problem. Invest in an amplifier to give them juice because your stereo will not be able to give them the power it needs , trust me it will definitly sound better. Hope that helps!
i like to keep it original but if they blew ill be better to get aftermarket anyways ill go with infinity and i agree you may need an amplifier to get the best of it
Aftermarket speaker are always better than most of stock speaker, not only you will listen to better sound quality, but you will be able to playthem louder, especially if you get a small amplifier.
