i was just wondering how much it would cost to put in a cold air intake on my 94 ranger.
It is best when you cannot see the top of the curbs because of the water to turn around. But Z car owners think they can drive boats that works until the Ford Excursion makes a big wave. I get at least one Hydro Locked Z car a year. Do the hydro shield and keep in the shallow end of the freeway.

Depends on what route you go. You can buy a no name intake from OKorder for pretty cheap. You can also check websites like Jegs or Summit Racing to see if they have one for your application. If you do the installation yourself, it's not hard at all and shouldn't be more than $50 if you go for an OKorder cold air intake. If you go with a company like KN, they have what is called a Fuel Injection Performance Kit (FIPK) that is essentially a cold air intake. I've had good results going both routes for cars that I've had. The KN will cost more, but they are very reliable and are backed by a million mile warranty. Ebay intakes are cheaper but it's hit or miss on fitment.
