Sulfuric Acid safety question?

A person in a laboratory, while dealing with conc. sulfuric acid, accidentally spills some of the acid on his hands.(i) What harm can concentrated sulfuric acid cause on the person's hands and why?(ii) The person then decides to wash his hands with water, while his friend tells him to pour conc. NaOH instead of water on his hands. Suggest which technique is better and why?(iii) Suggest what safety precautions should be taken to avoid such an event in a laboratory?THanks!!!

this alarm is very difficult to install. i am an installer and have done this model on a Cadillac and it took 4 hours just to get it in and not do any settings. not to mention its $200 for the install in addition to the $279 for the alarm in most places. this is top of the line and has r/s and all so the install anywhere is expensive, just a warning to never attempt this install unless you have enough experience or another car to drive when the one you put it in catches fire.
