a. smother with a blanket b. again, smother with blanket or douse with quantity of baking soda c. unplug TV and use water or soda to put out remaining fire d. throw dirt on hottest part of fire, remove fuels downwind of fire e. get everyone out, ring the fire brigade. there's only so much you can do safely without a proper fire extinguisher.
i don't have chemical explanation but i noticed that too, and the onclusion i get is, bottled water are just for drinking, not making tea or cooking, the balance would make you immune.
