Question:

About the Cuban Missile Crisis.?

Why were JFK and Khrushchev better prepared to make an agreement on nuclear weapons after the cuban missile crisis?

Answer:

Khrushchev agreed to take the missile silos out of Cuba and Kennedy agreed to take the missiles out of Turkey. Khrushchev had thought Kennedy was too inexperienced to handle the pressure, but after the crisis Khrushchev decided otherwise. It was eyeball to eyeball and Khrushchev blinked.
Both became aware of MAD Mutually Assured Destruction
