Question:

ac motor with dc voltage?

Could an AC motor (synchronous or asynchronous ) work with DC voltage? ;and the opposite, a DC motor with alternative voltoge? is it possible??

Answer:

Generally no. There is a type of motor often used in domestic appliances called a universal motor that will work on both ac or dc. Its the exception.
yes you need to build a ac to dc converter circuit nad virc vicer.
An AC motor will not work with DC applied. Some types of DC motors (particularly series wound ) can operate on either AC or DC. Any DC motor that reverses when the applied voltage is reversed (i.e. permanent magnet types) will not run on AC.
AC motor will not work with DC voltage, speed of a AC motor is function of frequency. for example s = k * f ( where k is constant, f is frequency of AC and S is speed). Now if we apply DC to an AC motor the frequency is zero, so is the speed. You can use isolating circuit using Transistors to convert DC into AC. As far as DC motor, simple household DC motor will not work with AC voltage, special application motors will work with both DC and AC, but they have simple circuits to convert given voltage to what the motor needs
