Answer:

You can put cookies on the foil on a cookie sheet.you still need to spray italso.make sure the rack is in the middle of the oven.and the heat is exactly right.
Definitely use a pan! That will spread the heat evenly and keep the bottoms from getting too darkIn my bakeshop we stack an extra pan underneath to prevent dark bottomsLine your cookie sheet with parchment paperIts found in the baking aisle, it relatively cheap and you won't have to worry about getting your cookies off the bottom of the panThey will slide right off of the parchment Also, i don't know what temperature you baked them at, but GENERALLY, you want to bake cookies at or around 350F and make sure your oven is fully preheated or you'll burn the bottoms every time.
It's best to use a non-stick cookie sheet, but I would still spray Pam on it to make the cookies come off easierHere's a fun, easy recipe for you to try tooPRALINE COOKIES (Yummy!) Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter 1 1/2 cups brown sugar packed 1 each egg 1 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup pecans chopped Directions: Heat oven to 350 degreesCream butter, sugar and eggStir in flour, vanilla and pecansMix well by handShape into balls about the size of walnuts, place on cookie sheets and flatten to about 1/8 inchBake 10 to 12 minutes, or until brownRemove from oven and allow to cool completely and harden(These cookies are chewy and not hard).
I just use a cookie sheetMy oven gets hotter so I always do it 10 degrees lower than what it saysIt also says bake for 12-15 minutesI take it out 3 minutes before the lowest number says to bake it and let it sit somewhere for about 20 minutesThey are chewy and perfect!
crochet 6 stitches and see how many inches this adds up toFigure out how many stitches per inch(I can't tell you because you didn't state the weight of the fiber you are using.) Anyway back to my answerNext measure your couch and do the mathMINUS 10% for example 5 stitches is an inch and your couch is 72 inches long, you will need to do 360 - 36 324Personally I would just do 300 and call it a day b/c these things stretch - no mater the weight of the fiber! Obviously you will use your own figures based on your stitches and your couchall my best.
