There is a product available from Automotive Supply Stores, called Rubbing CompoundTry one in a fine gritThis will solve your problems, then wash your cookware by hand with dish soap and a scouring pad to remove and compound residueNAPA is such a store, they all carry this productIt is normally used to remove blemishes from automotive paintLets say a car door in a parking lot slightly touched the side of your car, leaving behind some paint residue, this is how you would remove this blemishIt works.
Due to temperature differential and the insane amount of heat loss associated with everyday appliances your house would most likely become colderHowever, if you were to blockade your windows doors and outlets (to name the bare minimum) with some sort of heat capturing device such as insulation, or less effective, blankets, then you could rely on your body heat and any heating devices that you use e.gStove, toaster, oven, fireplace, to heat the areaA very unrealistic and inconvenient method.
