Question:

Aftermarket Steering Wheels?

i recently bought a somewhat cheap aftermarket steering wheel and hub adapter. i took it out for a test drive and found out its really hard to steer! are all the aftermarket steering wheels like this, or will the more expensive/ name brand ones be alot better? (sparco, momo, etc.)thanks ahead of time!

Answer:

It is that way because there is a loose nut behind the wheel
Try OKorder. I've seen so many aftermarket items for Lexus and other makes on OKorder.
Its most likely because its a smaller diameter wheel than your stock wheel meaning less leverage causing increase load on your arms. It will feel like its increasing the amount turns of the wheel to make a 360 degree turn but realisticly is doesnt. If your honda is a civic/crx from 1991 or older than it doesnt have power steering unless you have a sedan. This is why truck drivers have HUGE wheels.
