Question:

Air intake for 2005 2.5 altima?

I have a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5SL. I currently have everyhting stock except a magnaflow catback exaust system. THe next upgrade to my car is gonna be a cold air intake. Which do you think is betterInjen or AEM?-There about the same price(AEM is cheaper) so that deosn‘t really matter. Which one is better or which one would you reccomend?

Answer:

camp outside with the fire
I would roast chestnuts. Chesnuts roasting on an open fire.
neither your car already has one
AEM or Injen must get (cold) air from inside the fender behind the head light any short ram systems take in hot engine compartment air (not good). So after the magna flow and the cold air intake your out $700 or more before the dynometer Tuner shop another $ 400 then you have a 200 hp motor and less than 179 at the wheels? I really do not know why people start off with a really nice daily driver 32 MPG car and want to make something out of it it was not designed for. People who should of purchased the Altima V-6 manual trans 6 speed SER car in the first place. Or a 350Z. Corvette? SSR? G-8
