Question:

Air intake for an automatic?

I got a 2005 hyundai tiburon and was just wondering if it was worth it to put a air intake in it, thanks

Answer:

there is no cold air intakes that do what they claim, sorry, These greedy companies sell plastic crap with an air filter on it and claim rediculous horse power changes. Always check with your mechanic any time you plan on doing any changes. He is your best defense against wasting your money on worthless crap.
if you want cool sounds and slightly better gas mileage, and MAYBE 1/2 a horsepower, sure. but be sure of one thing. don't put the cone filter in the engine bay, route the intake tubing down to the inside of the bumper or fender. a cone filter in the engine bay sucks in hot air, gets worse gas mileage, less horsepower, and is worse for your car than stock air intake.
NO. IT A WASTE OF MONEY
