Question:

air intake on cold temperatures?

does cold weather (ohio) affect the performance or any other problems on engine if u install a (kN) cold air intake?

Answer:

the cold winter air should make the vehicle run more powerful, as to a hot summer day. It shouldn't give you any problems in the cold it just might take a little longer for it to get up to temperature to put out heat inside your car, but only a few extra minutes if that. KN kits are very expensive but also very save for your car.
you will have no problems with the kn system. the cold air intake from kn is actually just their catch phrase , for their design of using cooler ambient air from next to the fender, grill, or hood to send into the manifold. as opposed to using heated air from the engine compartment. the cooler denser air has more oxygen molecules in it giving you more power and economy.
