Question:

Aluminum-29 Isotope CHEMISTRY Help?

Aluminum -29 has an atomic number of 13 a) What is it's mass number? b) How many neutrons does it have?I think I know the answer butthis is what I think, can you tell me if it's right or wrong, and if its wrong can you tell me the answera) 42b) 29I'm not sure though. Thanks so much!

Answer:

The best thing to do is to throw it in rubbish.because it stored more than 6 monthsAnd fresh chicken is the best for the health.
Cook itIf it tastes fine and not freezer burnt, its not going to hurt you (provided it has been properly frozen the whole time)Why throw it out if it tastes fine?
It is still safe to eat because it is stored properly, however, it will not be so tastefulIt would be better if you enhance the flavor by cooking it with a lot of spicesEnjoy your meal!
Thaw it out, and enjoyThe chicken has been properly frozen , and has stayed in the safe zone of frozen food which is 0 Degrees to -20 degreesYoull have no worriesYou might have a little freezer burn if not wrapped properly, but who cares about freezer burn ?
Sorry Myra, you goofedThe mass number is just the sum of the protons and neutrons in the atom, (they're the only things that weigh something; that is, have massThe only other thing atoms have is electrons, and they're so piddly you can ignore them (when considering mass)The mass number of Aluminum 29 is 29Since the atomic number is the number of protons, and the total is the number of protons and neutrons, all you have to do to figure out the number of neutrons is subtract the number of protons from the total massSo 29 minus 13 equals 16Ain't chemistry fun!?
