I have a Cooler Master Hyper 101A that I've been using for a long time. It's rated to cool i5's and Phenom II quads. I'd like to keep using it. I'll be switching to Bulldozer as soon as it comes out. My goal is to be Bulldozer compatible within two weeks. So, what do you think? Will AM2/AM3 coolers work with Bulldozer? They should be physically compatible with the motherboard since they are AM3/AM3+ but are they qualified to cool the CPU?
It will get the job done, but it won't be a show stopper. If you are concerned about heat, you should upgrade to something with more heat pipes.
