Question:

Amp power cable vs. ground cable?

do i need to buy the cable that says specifically for ground? or can i just use my left over wiring from the power cable to connect in the ground? is there a difference between the two cables?

Answer:

exactly the same, only difference is the color (you mix them up and it can be expensive)- to avoid that put some electrical tape (BLACK) at the end of the wire that goes to the amp to help prevent that and you are good
1st bfore U substitute something U could attempt different approaches like an eq a crossover and masterfully tweak each and each physique of those gadgets completely to maximise your sound perhaps a capacitor do you have a overall performance alternator put in and a crimson-real batt. is that the final radio... U can tweak a equipment on a 8 gauge cord so do all U can do 1st reason U will might desire to alter amps if U flow to a a million.0 or a nil.0,,,
Typically, the only difference between a power cable and a ground cable is the color. If you have leftover power cable, go ahead and use it.
Cable is cable, the only thing that matters is where it is connected to and where it is going. You do not want to hook ground where the power wire goes. The color codes is only convenience.
i would just use the left over power wire for the ground cause i have a 1000 watt amp and i used the power wire and it work perfectly .
