Answer:

Mainly power and portability are different, all need carbon brush, so almost the other.
DC general purpose storage battery. Portable. Convenient. The battery doesn't work long enough, so it needs recharging frequently.The communication is generally single-phase 220V. It's not so convenient. It's limited by power.
From the performance point of view, it must be DC, because the DC motor work more stable and smooth, but from the volume and fault maintenance, the DC motor is bulky and fault prone!
