Question:

An RV Camping Trip List? (Packing)?

An RV Camping Trip List? (Packing)?

Answer:

I believe denier refers to the fiber thickness of each threadHigher is thickerI've lived in Western Washington for 11 yearsI run a small private boarding stable for retired show horses and while they have a nice big barn to hang out in, they also have 5 acres to wander around inAll my horses have always worn the Gore-Tex Horses in Black sheetsThey are perfect for our weatherThey are absolutely waterproof, but also breathableLots of blankets SAY they are breathable, but nothing keeps a horse dry like Gore-TexThat's why skiers and outdoor people always buy coats made of itThe sheet is the perfect weight for almost all winterIf it gets really cold at night, I'll slip a regular stable blanket or sheet on underneath on the horse who is 25 because he has a harder time with the coldThe other two horses are happy in their sheetsBelow is a link to the manufacturerYou can do a web search and look for the cheapest priceThey are expensive, but well worth itI bought one for a QH mare in 1999 and now my Connemara mare is still wearing itI recommend the sheet to all my clients who board their horses with me and all have purchased one for their horseThey are the best.
You definitely want to find one that says its waterproof and breathableDenier number is the number of threads per inch, so the higher the number, the stronger the fabric.
All the answers above are very good but I have something to addSince you have wet winters there are a lot of blankets that you can find that are water proofI feel that my horse is a whole bunch more comfortable when she's not wetYou can also find a waterproof sheet to throw over your blanket.
Denier is how strong the outer fabric is, so if you've got a horse who rips rugs etc opt for the highest denier you can findWhen looking at rugs, go for quality, fit and value for money.
Wow! sounds like your preparedIm also taking an rv trip next week, and here are some thinks I had, that i think you didnt haveLawn chairs Some kind of turf stuff for sitting outside, because most rv sites dont have good ground to sit stuff onHose- for if you need to wash something off outside sunscreen If its not your rv, you might want to bring some carpet cleaner, if you spill anything A mini vaccum A fan incase the ac goes out, or if you want to sit outside when its hotA light colored umbrell/ huge umbrella for outdoor cooking/ sittingYou may not need some of these items, but those are just some things i had that you may not have hadHope this helped!
