Hi, whenever I am driving the airbag light is always on. It‘s not supposed to be on whilst driving right? What does the mechanic need to check and how does he rectify this? Or where should I go to fix it so it doesn‘t come on again? Many thanks for your help :).
The airbag light only comes on when the key is in the on position,comes on and goes out 6 seconds after car is started and when there is a fault in the airbag deployment system or passenger presentation wire under the passengers seat came un-hooked. A couple days later the light will go out but both airbags will be deactivated if the light is on or not,so I suggest you get it fixed.
