Question:

Any opinions on hard floor cleaners (wet/dry) vacuums?

I know there is the Bissell Flip it, Dirt Devil Vac n Mop and Hoover Floor Mate, but is there a site where I can compare all 3 and see which one is the best?

Answer:

if you have a hard wood floor you are not supossed to clean it with water. I have a mop that has a terry cover and a spray cleaner (non wax, non-water) made for hard wood floors. I use a plain dust broom to get the dirt up!
I tried the Floor Mate, garbage...it didn't do a good job of cleaning (terrible suction) and it leaked water. I bought a scooba...very happy with it. Does a great job on the floors and you can use vinegar and water instead of the clorox cleaner on your wood floors. The only drawback is you have to empty and then refill after 45 mins. Other than that its the greatest invention for a busy Mom like me!
Go into a search engine, like Yahoo or Google. Type in, one at a time, the name of the product, like Bissell Flip It. Seeing they are name brand items, you should find links for the companies websites. Hope this helps!
I have the Hoover Floor Mate. DO NOT buy this! All it does is pee the water out, and smear the dirt around. Personally I am a fan of hands and knees with a mixture of light dawn dish soap and warm water. I don't think, if your floor is wood it is wise to actually get it wet. Regular hardwood floor cleaner I suppose would be the best.
i okorder . okorder for more info.
