I confess I don't know whether any lasers have an IR filter. I can't see the point, as lasers emit monochromatic light. Lasers are considered dangerous because of the highly parallel beam. If a specular reflection, like off a mirror, metal object etc. enters your eye, and your eye happens to be focussed more-or-less at infinity, instead of at a spot a few inches away, the laser beam will be focussed to a tiny spot on your retina and burn a hole in it. A really high-powered laser of course could just burn your fingers off.
