Question:

Anybody know how to disable a car alarm?

I own a 97 mercury cougar with an alarm system that doesn‘t allow the car to start unless I unlock it by the keypad. I can open the doors and everything else by the key itself but it will not start unless I hit the alarm key pad. The key pad is made by remocon. Unfortunately I lost the keypad today. Does anybody up hear know how I can disable it so I can start the car with out the keypad?

Answer:

He's right, the tread life is only one aspect of the reliability of a tire. Rubber is petroleum-based, and over time the tire will dry out if it isn't being used because riding generates heat and expands the rubber which is healthy for the tires. I wouldnt risk my life riding on 18 year old tires.
no rubber will dry out and crack.however simply getting 2 new tires put on should not cost you $300
if tires are well inflated they shoudnt crack, if the pressure is too low the tires will flex when they get old, plus the ruber become stiff and wount bend, check ure tires first
all add on alarms have the unit under the drivers knee bolster take that down and the unit will be there/take it off
