Question:

Anyone use Bars Leak liquid copper to stop a radiator leak, is it any good?

My Dodge Grand Caravan is leaking radiator fluid. I can see it dripping on the ground when I park the car and the reservoir empties pretty quickly. I can really make out where it‘s leaking b/c the radiator is packed in tight between the fans, frame and front parts of the cars. i.e. nose, headlights etc. Has anyone use this stuff and does it work?

Answer:

well, i don't know what to tell you. if you told me what the code was, maybe i could help you.
depends on where the leak is, if it is the radiator or a hose then it will most likely work but if it is the water pump then the only thing to do is change it, remember these stop leaks are only meant to be a temporary measure
well it works sometimes an dor but sometimes it plugs heater core which cost you more than a radiator does and you sure radiator leaking or is it water pump or a bad hose be better to have it look at by a shop or not to use it really shoul dknow where its leaking from before you use any type of sealer most will casue more problems than they fix
I would only us it if I didn't care what happened to the car otherwise, get it repaired.
