I have an alarm system through Apex Alarm (or Honeywell Systems) and lately I have been hearing a lot of bad stuff about them. I have been having major problems with this company and went online to research them and found out all kinds of bad stuff. Has anyone else heard bad things or have been having problems with them? My alarm does not work half the time and I have a lot of false alarms or times when I can't set my alarm system properly. I called Apex about this and they came out to fix it but I still have problems. i called and complained multiple times. Once when I called them the techincal support guy said Wellyou can still SET the alarmwe just won't be notified if someone breaks into your home or there is a fire. Ummmm what good is that?!?! They won't let me cancel even though I can't use it half the time and when the guy signed up he never told me it was a 3 year contract. I guess I am stuck but I would like to know if anyone else is having problems.

Consider yourself lucky there wasnt a need for it. Broken window at least.
You can fire your attorney at any time. You can go IN PRO PER (handle the case yourself) or you can substitute in another counsel. If you need more time you can ask the court for an extension for the purpose of seeking competent counsel. You can also report your attorney to the State Bar.
