I Attach the battery to the back of the DVD player, I plug the cord into the batteries charger port but the lit does not turn on. When I unplug it the next day. IT still is not even charged. Does anyone knowwat is wrong with it. Just an answer please, not people telling me to buy a new portable DVD player.
How old is the battery pack? If it is a year old (of fairly continual use), then it is shot. Rechargeable battery packs don't last forever. If the pack is new, then the charging circuit inside the DVD player is shot. There is one possibility, that the connection points from the battery to the player are oxidized. If you can get to the little metal points that make the connections from the battery pack to the player (on both the battery pack and the player); take a pencil eraser and rub the metal to shine it up.
