Question:

are all rocks ores????

are all rocks ores????

Answer:

I am riding an CB600FS horbet from '92. I have had differnet Battlax tyres. Currently I have BT023. My front tyre will be up for replacement shortly. It has done already 37.500km and they are jsut below 2 mm treat. I think it will be replaced by arround 40.000km 25.000 miles. Prety good you coudl drive them around the world. The rear tyre is on 27.500km and still 3.5 mm :-)
Different bikes, tires, and styles of riding will drive different responses. Rear tire typically gets half as much life as front tire on a sport bike. If you post some specifics you may get more specific answers. I get 3K miles out of a rear tire with Michelin Pilot Powers. Ride safe !
An ore is a rock that contains metal. Iron ore, silver ore, gold ore, is a rock with that specific metal in it. The metal has to be separated from the surrounding material. A rock will be considered an ore if it has an abundant sample of a specific mineral in it.
It's an impossible question to answer because your mileage may vary. It depends on the tyre, the bike and the rider. My R1150GS will do 7000 miles on a rear Metzler Tourance but only 2500 on a Conti TKC80. What you really should be asking is how old - and I don't know the answer.
