Question:

Are random people allowed to enter your backyard without asking?

I caught a glimpse someone wearing those orange traffic safety clothing running/fast walking out of my backyard when I was in the kitchen, I ran to my room which overlooks the front of the house and saw her walk straight across the street and speaking with people across the street in a plaza where it seems to be undergoing construction I noticed its a plumbing company since there are 2 vans blocking traffic in the parking lot where they are talking. Are these companies allowed to send people into other people's backyards without permission?

Answer:

Unions are pipe/tube fittings that are used to connect two pieces of pipes. Its not actually referred as fittings, it is actually referred to as 'unions'. they have female thread and pipe and tube with male threads are threaded and sealed as required. This allows for the tube or pipe to be longer than its manufactured lengths. Flanges on the other hand are generally used to connect pipes to equipment (Pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, valves). I hope this helps. to see difference between them, you should look up picture on google image search
You can use a bike pump if its a small extinguisher. Usually I use a compressor at about 50 lbs. If you don't have one you can go to the gas station and use theirs.
