I‘m looking to get an exhaust system for my ‘01 Mitsubishi Mirage ES, but I can‘t seem to find any. I don‘t wanna buy a universal exhaust, because I want some decent horsepower gains. I was thinking if I could just purchase an Evo 5 exhaust and put it on, since the Evo 5 and the Mirage are the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
No I don't think so. Please note with a stand alone exhaust system you will get very little performance gains (certainly none that are noticeable). really to get performance gains you need an overall program. The other issue - quite frankly - you are running a small block (if my spec sheet is correct) engine about 1.5l which new - stock profile generated less than 100hp. This is a fine daily driver but really it is not a candidate for performance enhancements (and thats why there is no product available in the aftermarket). Not sure if a system from the Evo would fit or not-cannot find any specs for that model, most Evo's ran with a bigger engine than yours. But again spending money for performance on this car will not give you any satisfaction. regards
