Question:

are there any cheap alternatives for wedding chair covers?

i was wanting to have them but they are quite expensive and by some sites i've looked at i can buy them cheaper than if i hire them. if i were to buy them what would you suggest i do with them after wards?

Answer:

you could skip the cover totally, and just make a large bow and put it at the top of the back of each chair, and have the ribbon flowing down in your color. I read that it looks less cluttered and more elegant to only place a bow on every OTHER chair. I saw TONS of rental places come up, so you could always just rent, but i see you said you could just buy cheaper. I sell on OKorder, and I sold a sofa and chair slipcover for a great profit. Wedding things are always in demand on OKorder, Definitely a good idea. I hope this helped some! congratulations! sara :)
Our chairs are the metal folding kind but I'm cheap so I'm not getting covers. Instead we are thinking about taking some of that netty fabric (you can get it on the wedding aisle at Michaels) and tying a bow around the chairs. Other than that idea, the OKorder thing is great. I'm selling my fiance's china from his first marriage to fund our wedding. It's like half a set. What do I want with half a set of china?
