Question:

are there magnetic bones in the human nose?

are there magnetic bones in the human nose?

Answer:

if you actually pull your skin of you can see there is no magnetic bones in your nose. plus there is no bones I your nose
Yep - I'm always getting chunks of iron flying up and sticking to my nose
It's a reasonable question, since it's most likely some birds and bees use earth's magnetic field for navigation. If it's possible humans have a latent capacity to sense a magnetic field, the best approach would be a lot of careful training and practice. Probably the easiest way would be to set up a room where a computer randomly chooses an orientation for an externally applied magnetic field, then set the field to that orientation, and gave you a few seconds to try to sense it. Then the computer would display to you what orientation was chosen. You'd probably call the method biofeedback training. But if whatever your body needs to do that sensing has evolved away by genetics or epigenetics, I don't know if there's a way to encourage its return over many generations. It would need to convey some evolutionary advantage.
