Question:

(at home) septum piercing help?

I tried piercing my septum earlier with a safety pin. I sterilized the needle first by boiling it in water for 10 minutes. I iced my nose for a little while before I did it, it helped for the first few seconds but then it HURT. I got it 80% of the way through before I felt like I was gonna pass out and throw up. So I gave up. I want to try it again, any advice on how to minimize the pain? I'm a 13 year old girl so I don't have the highest pain tolerance. and this is my first time piercing my face. and any other advice would be great. :)

Answer:

Male dogs pee on upright objects like tree trunks, fence posts, and fire hydrants. They check it for pee messages first, then they leave their own pee message; then they smell check the message. They do this as a message board for other dogs, and to show that they have a right to that territory. Female dogs pee on the ground next to the fire hydrant or post. There is a fence post in front of my yard that represents the border between my dogs' territory and public territory. My dogs go out several times a day to check the messages from passing dogs, and leave their own messages.
Your pup will not train itself to go potty outside. You have to take him out on a schedule and teach him where you want him to go. Leaving him in a room and expecting him to go outside to potty on his own is silly.
