Question:

bad water pump on a car??

will a water pump that has gone out in a car make water come out the radiater

Answer:

If the water pump is bad and it's causing the engine to overheat from lack of circulation, it can cause overheated coolant to be vented by the radiator cap which should spill into your coolant resevoir. If it's leaking from anywhere else on the radiator, find it, and repair it... Don't wait..... Good Luck to you..
Yes and no. If it is not pumping water. the water over heat and come out. A blow head gasket will do the same. A bad Thermostat will do the same.
yes it,s overheating the water pump needs to pump the water away from where the engine needs cooling the most or if it stays there it will heat quickly and boil and create bubbles like when your cooking water in a pot this causes the pressure to increase and forces the water run out the radiator by now you could also have a blown head gasket and that can also force water out the radiator, are the water and oil showing any major pollution as in water in the oil or vice verse.
Yes, when a car overheats, the pressure built up will exceed the pressure rating for the cap, and cause it to overflow from the radiator. But you should make sure it's the water pump causing this, there are a lot of things that can cause a car to overheat.
As in overflow? No. The only thing A bad water pump will do is make you engine severely overheat, cause there is no water/coolant flowing to cool it. Now if your radiator is leaking from the top, like where you fill it up or from a hose connected to the filling point, then your thermostat probably needs to be replaced. If your radiator is leaking from anywhere other than the filling point, then you have a leak in your radiator, in which case you can just take your radiator to a radiator shop and they will fix it for cheap.
