Question:

Baking a Cheesecake.?

I have heard that when baking a cheesecake in a springform pan it's better to wrap the bottom of the pan with a double layer of aluminum foil and half-submerge in boiling water while baking.I have also heard that it works just as well if you put a baking pan half full of water on the lower oven rack and bake the cheesecake on the middle oven rack (moisture to help prevent cracking).I'm wondering which way is better.any advise is welcomedThanks.

Answer:

I tried the first methodIt protect the cheesecake crust and edges from drying.
One to operate the crane, since you asked this question it would probably take 100 of you because in asking this you obviously didn't think about the crane.
Not many if they used levers for mechanical advantage.
