Question:

Bathroom redo - mixing light oak vanity and chrome fixtures?

Due to a burst water pipe, our bathroom is being redone. Hubby found a new shower fixture in chrome, so we want to change all of our fixtures to chrome from the "gold" they were. We will be replacing the vanity top with a whitish top and floor with a whitish floor. No patterns picked out yet. We want to repaint with a whiter color (rather than the cream color currently) and need to replace vanity. I have found a light oak vanity that I like. Will the oak vanity stick out like a sore thumb? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

paint the cabinet and add chrome hardware.
Brushed nickle works properly with chrome. I surely have chrome bath furniture, yet opted for the vintage bronze lights. Figured over the years i could exchange out the cheapie chrome stuff. i do no longer even pay interest to the incontrovertible fact that they are diverse and issues like that often stick out like a sore thumb to me. I surely have shiney brass door knobs interior the homestead, too. And, someway all of it works.
