Question:

Bathroom vanities?? help?

We're building and I get to pick all the stuff in my bathroom. Where can I buy a bathroom vanity?? I'm thinking glass/wall mound like this one.but thats too expensiveor a contemporary vanitybut i don't like the bulky appearance and I'd rather not have cabinets at the bottom....I need the faucet, mirror, vanity, and towel/toilet paper... in about $750thanksi'd really like a set that includes everything and everything matches but i don't thinks there's one that fits me...

Answer:

LOOK UP 'CUSTOM CABINETRY' in your area. You would be surprised at how affordable a bathroom vanity can be since it usually only has 2 sides.
Is this for a Master Bath? I think before you purchase anything you should think about the space you have to work with. You could try for a similar look as the tradewindimport piece by crafting a vanity out of an inexpensive but strong wood and wrap the wood in mirror and set sink on top. I would search in your area for outlets that have discounted plumbing fixtures. As far as a mirror goes, I would look at art and frame shops, hobby stores, even tuesday morning, tj maxx, marshall's... sometimes you can find really good deals. May be fun to use a round mirror above a sharp contemporary vanity. Hope this helps! I have a degree in Interior Design and practiced 16 years before becoming a busy mom.
