Question:

Battery pack with Li-ion cells?

I have 3.7V 4000mAh Li-ion cellsI need to connect them in a way to create a battery pack to run a motor of 6000W 60V.I know in need to connect 16 in series to get 60VBut by how much in parallel? Thanks

Answer:

Keep the fire department's number handy
If your numbers and terms are all correct, batteries of any type are not going to be an economical power source for the motor.
If they are 4,000 miliamps, that's 4 amp. You said you need 6,000 watts? That's a lot of juice and money my friend. 60 volts x 25 4 amp batteries would equal the 6000 watt load you need. 25 batteries in parallel, already stacked 16 In a row in series. There are much much better alternatives and cheaper ways of doing this. But if you do decide to, you'll need to know how to run series parallel circuits and keep the wiring even along all batteries with lowest resistance wiring as well to work.
U will need a lot of batterys jus use a car or motor bike battery would be better
