Bearded dragon Question?

ok well my bearded dragon will be upgrading to a 40 gallon and then 65 gallon and right now i have paper towls but what im i supodt to use when i upgrade plz help me

Answer:

Walnut shells, excavator clay, paper towels, terrarium liner, and sand all are acceptable. My beardie that I had in a 75 gal tank, had white sand, and is quite healthy. Holds the heat for a little while after I turn the lights out.
It depends how big the beardie is. Try to keep him on not so loose substrate. Try the excavator clay. It is like their original habitat. And it's all one piece so it can't eat it; therefore, no impaction.
My daughter volunteers at a local reptile rescue center and we have a 4year old beardie at home. We use Ground English Walnut Shells, which the vet actually suggested. They are totally digestible, so there's no risk of impaction if ingested. It also looks very natural.
Separate your dragons and your situation would be solved. they are actually not meant to stay at the same time except they're mating, that's far too early for a 4 month old dragon, they dont attain sexual adulthood until eventually finally around a million twelve months.
