I want to become a Real Estate Agent in the State of New York. Can I do online courses to become certified ?? It's too hard to go to classes still having young kids a baby. BTW, is a "Realtor" the same as "Real Estate Agent" ? Does the online courses make it harder/longer to complete than *in* classroom ? Any info you got, Thank you !!!
Thier are many degrees you can uptain online. These courses are ment to be shorter. Usually you will uptain our degree any wear from 10-17 months if not even sooner. Online school is becoming really popular because is thier when ever you have time and it's ment to work around your schedule and fit your needs and you can even get financial aid if you qualify but be careful a lot of online sights can be scams and some diplomas aren't valid so be really careful and do your research before you waist your money and time by the way I think it's grate that your trying to better your self as a mom
I cant comment on real estate courses, but I have obtained a degree online. I received a degree in business online. There was no set time frame to complete it in. The website said you do it at your own pace, in your own time. I completed it after 12 months. I was also able to contact teachers via phone through email sometimes they had lectures where all the students could log on with webcam i found it easier than classroom because there were no distractions and I could focus. I ended up getting a distinction, too. and found work 3 months after completion
A real estate sales person has a license in the state. A Realtor is NOT the same. A Realtor is a trademark and it means that a real estate sales person is a member of the national association of Realtors. First, if you can't find the time to take the classes, then you DONT HAVE THE TIME to be an agent. Sorry, but that's the hard truth. In addition, if you can't find the time to attend in person classes, then you will NEVER find the time to do the course online. I promise you, if you take the course in person, you will actually spend LESS time then if you do it online and you will have a MUCH GREATER chance of passing. The ONLY!!!!!!! reason for the course is to help you pass the test. Most of the stuff on in the book and online is NOT on the test. The online course teaches everything and weighs everything the same. The in person class teaches for the test. They will review everything, but they will also stress what is IMPORTANT to pass the test.
