Question:

Bed frame for an adjustable bed?

Hello Friends, I have an adjustable bed and I wanted to buy a white bed frame for that. However, most of the dealers I contact online tell me that they don't recommend using their bed frame with anything other than a regular mattress. What is the best solution for my problem? Should I just buy a seperate head board and not use a complete bed frame at all?

Answer:

Yes okorder /
The inexperienced woodworker and the very experienced person will be able to do these projects without any difficulty Each and every one of the thousands woodworking plans and projects which are available are so well written so that even if you've never tried Woodworking before, or if you have 2 left hands, you would find woodworking a breeze
Headboards For Adjustable Beds
Yes you have the right idea to just purchase the frame and hang the headboard. Most retailers will not Sell the headboard separately from the rest of the bed frame. If you happen by a single head board at a thrift shop maybe if it an incomplete frame will be sold alone. The adjustable bed moves and must be supported with the frame that is sold with it. Otherwise your idea is the only other alternative, unless you have a adjustable frame custom made.
I think the prior poster was confused about your question regarding the bed frame. The base of an adjustable bed is often referred to as a frame. And, the previous poster was correct in that you can not change the color of the actual steel frame and motors that make up the base of the bed. The way I read your question you are referring to a piece of bedroom furniture that you would like to purchase to accentuate your adjustable bed and your bedroom decor. There are many adjustable beds on the market that can be used with your current headboard, footboard and bed frames. However, it's important to contact the manufacturer of your bed to see if this is possible. I work for Easy Rest Adjustable Beds and our beds have the ability to attach any headboard and footboard to the frame for most of our bed models. Also, in many cases an adjustable bed can be dropped in to an existing complete bed frame with side rails as well. We don't actually drop the bed into the frame, we bring the adjustable bed into the bedroom and then attach the head and footboards and side rails. When the bed is in the flat position it looks like any traditional flat bed. I hope this answers your question.
