Question:

bench pressing?

im 14 and i weigh around 120. i can bench press 95 to about 105. is that good for my age and size, or shuld i be able to bench press more. (ive been working out for about a month with free weights and the weight bench.)

Answer:

NO it doesnt stunt your growth your not too young i get tired of hearing this freaking myth i have been lifting weights since i was 12 im currently 5'11 and 170 pounds. Now when someone is asking what is good most say your body weight but i consider that above average or really irrelevant because someone could be heavy and not strong but for a 14 year old that is below average but im around strong people and i am one myself all the time if you work on it you should get stronger and stronger and just keep up the good work let me tell you that not to be rude but without any weight lifting when i started at 12 i could bench press 95 pounds
That's good, keep at it!
Don't do weightlifting just yet! You're gonna stunt your growth. On the other hand, that's pretty good for your age.
