JP magazine said the AEM Brute Force intake was best. Should I go with cold air? Is a new system even worth the time and money?
An open intake w/ plastic lead from air scoop is a great intake for air flow. But if you don't want air scoop, try to get the biggest filter possible for maximum flow.
Re rout into cabin this way you don't pick up as much dust. and change air intake manifold only on 6Cly

I can assure you, it does improve performance. But it's up to you to decide if it's worth the money. As for the time, it doesn't take long to install a new one. I assume the article you read was based on legitimate facts proved and tested. But, you know companies always boast to be the best. For a 03' Jeep though I would consider ordering from Advanced Auto Parts or NAPA. The have sufficient performance parts.
