Question:

Best Insulation for Gloves?

I've heard that thermoloft and primaloft are the two best, but have no idea which one i should purchase when buying snowboarding glovesi need the warmest one, cuz my hands get very cold during the day.anyone know which one is better, and if you think a different one besides these two is better, let me know!thanks!

Answer:

Elmer's glue works really well for that, but you can also yarn the hair by threading it through the fabric, like when you yarn a quiltI would probably stick with glue if I were you though just because it is quicker and easierGood Luck.
You can sew the yarn on or glue with special craft glue for wood and fabrics.
sew it through the head, you use the yarn twice as long as the hair needs to be and stitch through the scalp of the doll and then do a little back stitch to secure it, and you do it with each piece, or you can make a wig off the head and attatch the entire thing, but you really need to see how that is done.
I have had good luck with both of those materialsThinsulate is another I have used with good resultsWhat I think makes an even bigger difference in keeping the cold out is getting an insulated glove with Gore-Tex in themI think one of my warmest gloves ever have been my Marmot with Gore-TexA glove that properly fits your hands is also one that will keep you warmerIf I'm going out in cold cold weather, I might use my insulated mittens that have finger slots in themMy fingers have stayed nice toasty warm and I have better dexterity than a regular mitten.
actually the best way is when your making the doll, sew the hair into the head and use a fabric glue on the inside for added secuity.
