Question:

Best mold material for polyester resin, one that doesn't stick?

I am going to make a large resin shape, it is a cubic custom shape, all straight lines and flat surfaces. So far I know that wood and plexiglass don't make good molds since they stick to the resin. I was thinking about using some sort of molding clay, but it would probably too difficult to make cubic shapes with it, since most clay molds are free-form. I use a mold-release spray but it seems ineffective. What mold materials work well with resin?

Answer:

Two possibilities, either the breaker in your electrical box is tripped or your smoke detector is bad. Mine was labeled smoke detectors in the electrical box. Both things happened to me.
There is no such thing. There are standards for smoke alarms that have to be met with regards to how loud they are. There is nothing that you can do except get one that you can silence while cooking
