Question:

Bleach in my carpet!?

How can I get my carpet back to its normal color? I have a beige carpet and we mixed to much bleach to get the stains up so i have a couple of bleach spots..

Answer:

You need a pro to come and recolor the damage and neutralize the bleach.
Sorry to say this but the damage is already done to your carpet. Not much you can do other than throw rug or buy a whole new rug.
Bleach will remove any colour instantly To restore the colour you need a permanent marker of the same colour Or you need a new carpet
Sorry the damage is done, you can cover it with throw rugs or do a carpet puzzle piece. By that I mean cut a piece of carpet from a closet, cut the stain out(same size and shape). Piece in the new piece. Be sure you have carpet tape and an iron. If your afraid to try this yourself a carpet company will do it for you. Won't even know anything has happened.
The bleach spot is permanent unfortunately. You've stripped the dye out. If you're talking wall to wall carpet you might want to call a carpet installer and ask if there is a dye you can use to re-dye it back to as close as possible to its natural color. Mind you, I have never heard of this, just a shot in the dark and have no idea if they would have something like that. But I should think calling a professional carpet dealer/installer would be your only hope. Otherwise, as the other poster said, lay a throw or area rug over it if at all possible.
