Question:

Bleach made carpet orange?! Help!?

My brother used toilet bleach on the carpet to wash out some cat pee, and its turned orange, when the carpet is beige!!Is there any way to make it beige again? Otherwise our parents will be mad :/x

Answer:

Sorry to say, but probably not. Bleach stains are pretty much permanent. Hopefully, your parents will understand.
I'm pretty certain that there is no way to reverse bleach stains. He should NOT have used bleach on carpet! there are safe carpet cleaners out there! Your just going to have to put a rug over that section or a piece of furniture... good luck!
Bleach will not come out... Sorry but your parents will have to get mad.. Bleach stains and he shouldn't have used bleach to wash out cat pee.. Cat pee would be better on the carpet then bleach..
A lot of young men and women pull this boo boo. The carpet dyes are now permanently damaged. The only solution is to have a piece of carpet removed from a closet and fitted in the area that is damaged. It takes a professional carpet layer/installer to do this so that it is not noticeable. A carpet remnant of similar color and texture can then be fitted in to the closet. To locate this pro, call a store that sells carpeting and flooring and ask for the manager, he/she will recommend a person they use in there business.
try putting it in dryer wash it off .....
